Herrenhaus Grafenort

The Herrenhaus is a part of the Benedictine monastery in Engelberg. Since 1995, a foundation has been operating the Herrenhaus as a seminar and conference center.

The lovely four-story Herrenhaus features a modern baroque garden. It offers a variety of rooms and open spaces, making it a perfect place for seminars as well as celebrations.

Built at the end of the 17th century, the well-designed Herrenhaus in Grafenort still meets the needs of today's users. Originally, it served as the monastery's valley residence and as an inn for travelers. It also hosted political meetings as well as trading activities.
