Brother Klaus Museum

This museum is dedicated to Brother Klaus (Nicholas of Flüe, 1417-1487), father and hermit, farmer and visionary, politician and mystic, and Switzerland's only saint.

The museum is located in one of the most beautiful patrician homes of Canton Obwalden. Built in 1784, the villa with its Baroque garden is in its original condition for the most part.

Eine Grund- und immer wieder neue Sonderausstellungen zu attraktiven Themen begeistern Besucher, Pilger und Touristen aus dem In- und Ausland. Zeitgenössische Beiträge treten in den Dialog mit den historischen Räumen.
