Pilgrim destination Flüeli-Ranft is also nearby; in fact, Saint Nicolas of Flüe is the patron saint of the nuns at Melchtal Convent.The Catholic sisters live according to the rules of the Saint Benedict of Nursia. At the gates of their convent, they welcome visitors heartily and make them feel at home. There are guest rooms available, and if you'd like, you can arrange to chat with a nun or get involved in activities around the convent.
