Stans-Stanserhorn

Mount Stanserhorn is the northernmost point of the north-south axis that divides the Melch and Engelberg valleys. It also lies on the same axis as the Cheops pyramid in Egypt. So it's no wonder that Stanserhorn and the cantonal capital of Stans radiate so much energy!

The Winkelried monument in Stans commemorates the heroic deeds of Arnold von Winkelried during the Battle of Sempach (1386). He sacrificed himself so that his comrades could break through the enemy line. The monument radiates a value of 10,000 Bovis units.

Stans is also the starting point for a second place of power, Mount Stanserhorn. You board the mountain railway and ride nearly to the summit. At its highest point (alt. 1,898 m), Stanserhorn offers glorious views as well as 22,000 Bovis units. That's about the same as Mexico's moon pyramid of Teotihuacán.
