The Benedictine trail connects the monastery in Engelberg to the convent in Maria-Rickenbach. The route is quite varied and offers a beautiful panorama of the valley and mountains.

The Brother Klaus trail leads from Stans to Flüeli Ranft. This is the same path that Heimo Amgrund rode on the night of December 21, 1481. He delivered valuable advice from Brother Klaus, which ultimately brought peace to the area.

The "Trail of Visions" is both a hiking trail and a meditation path. It starts in Flüeli at the house where Brother Klaus was born, and ends at his burial chapel in Sachseln.

Brother Klaus, also known as Saint Nicholas of Flüe (1417-1487), is the patron saint of Switzerland. He lived and worked in Flüeli-Ranft, and he's buried at the parish church in Sachseln.

The Christ Child of Sarnen is a Gothic wooden sculpture from the 14th century. It measures 50 centimeters in height.

The house where Brother Klaus was born has an interesting history behind it. Built in the late Middle Ages, it was converted into a two-family home in 1425. That ground plan remains the same today.

Nicholas of Flüe built this house in Schibloch-Matte on the road to Ranft. He lived here with his family before becoming a hermit in 1467.
