Schönbüel - Turren

From the Schönbüel mountain station you hike to the "Steinmandli" vantage point. Here you'll enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of the Bernese Alps. The route leads south along the ridge toward Wylerhorn. Depending on the snow conditions, you start on the right side of the ridge and continue to the lowest point, from where you can see the Central Swiss Alps. A slight descent brings you down to "üsseri Alp". Soon after you'll reach the little village of Breitenfeld. Then you follow the treeline to Turren station. You can also tackle this route in the opposite direction.
