Beckenried - the prettiest village on the prettiest lake

Beckenried (alt. 437 m) lies on the southern shore of Lake Lucerne and at the foot of Mount Klewenalp (alt. 1,600 m). Two highway ramps as well as good boat and bus connections make it easy for guests to embark on a variety of excursions around the region.

Relax on the delightful terraces of lakeside hotels and sample their culinary delicacies, or enjoy a refreshing swim in the lake.

Summer
Experience sensational moments while hiking, climbing, biking, paragliding and watching animals in a paradise-like setting with breathtaking views. If you stay in the valley, you can go to the beach, play minigolf or take a cruise on a steam ship.
