Engelberg - Titlis - a heavenly place

Welcome to Engelberg, the summer and winter paradise perched at 1,050 meters above sea level. The monastery village at the foot of Mount Titlis is embedded in heavenly natural scenery and surrounded by an impressive mountain panorama.

Several mountain railways whisk you in every direction, including up to the region's highest point - Mount Titlis. Along the way, cozy mountain restaurants and huts invite you to linger and enjoy the atmosphere.

Summer
Explore lush green meadows, pristine white snow and steel blue mountain lakes. Some 360 kilometers of hiking trails and a host of lofty cable cars - from the Älplerseil to the Rotair - entice you to discover the valley again and again.

Winter
Engelberg (alt. 1,050 – 3,020 m) is considered a snow-reliable winter sports resort. Enjoy the sunshine, the fluffy powder snow and romantic winter walking trails or glide through snowy forests on a pair of cross-country skis.
