Wolfenschiessen - Oberrickenbach - Bannalp

Wolfenschiessen (alt. 511 m) lies in the Engelberg Valley, just a 10-minute drive from Engelberg and a half-hour drive from Lucerne. It includes the hamlets of Altzellen and Oberrickenbach. Numerous cable cars and chair lifts connect people to the surrounding mountains.

The Bannalp region (alt. 1,600 - 2,800 m) is the treasure of Canton Nidwalden. The family-friendly hiking and winter sports area lies in a high valley complete with a mountain lake and stunning views of the pre-Alps.

Summer
In addition to its impressive and rare alpine flora, Bannalp has well-marked mountain trails. Young guests in particular love the dwarf trail. And when you need a break, why not stop at one of the family-friendly grill stations along Lake Bannalp?
